Planning: Treatment One: First Draft of Teaser Trailer

Treatment One:

Character Biographies:
1. Elizabeth

Elizabeth, 18, has had a troubled past, filled with despair after her mother suffered a mental breakdown. Being unable to deal with the grief for much longer she decides to return to the place where her father was killed.

2. Holly as a young girl: Played by Elizabeth
Elizabeth is the younger version of Holly aged 8. She is Holly as a little girl who actually sees her dad hanging from the light in the bedroom. Elizabeth’s clothing is modern to appeal to young girls today, and her hair is also long, which is similar to Holly’s in the present.
3. The father played by Jack

Jonathan aged 48 works 9-5 in an office job in central London. Before his successful career took off, he had a hidden past of drugs, crime and gang warfare just to make ends meet, and his past has now caught up with him. Gang members have been constantly phoning and arriving at the house throughout the night, scaring little Holly aged eight. On a cold winters morning he simply can’t take it anymore. Thoughts of sadness but also relieve fill his mind, as he slowly steps onto the bed and places the tie around his neck. "Holly will be safe" he thinks, and then he jumps and hangs himself, breaking his neck and losing all air supply. His life is over, but will continue to affect Holly long after he’s gone.

Plot:

Holly lives in Marlow, located on the weathly side of town. From her the beginning of her life shes been different. Holly attends a a local school whilst her dad works for an agency. She doesnt know what he does, untill one cold winters day it finally catches up on her. Slowly approaching the stairs she calls out "dad" "dad" and slowly climbs up the stairs. She screams and sees her dad hanging in the swaying light. From this point on her life changes. Holly is forced to live in a number of carehomes from this day foreward. One day she is shopping in her local supermarket when she gets the feeling she is being watched. Unknown to her there is a man working for the CIA. A week later she notices she is being followed again as she leaves work. Another week later the same identical car is following her. She decides to pull over and approach the gentleman. Holly is then grabbed and shoved into the back of the car. The next time she wakes up she is in a dark damp cold room with one light. She is about to find out the real truth. After a series of questions she is told that her father did not hang himself, and that her father was infact a victim of an assination by the CIA as he "knew too much" and the CIA thought it was time to tell her this. The remander of the film she battles with the CIA, untill eventually she decides to set up her own agency.
