Planning: Organisation of costumes with images, separated into characters and justification of how they suit the genre

Here is the two costumes we considered for the role of the child Mia.

Option 1.

We liked this costume as it was very innocent looking and realistic to a childs outfit, however it was quite simple and we wanted an outfit that had more detail.

Option 2.

This was the outfit we chose for Elizabeth to wear. We chose this as it was very detailed, even including her shoes. Each item was very realistic and child-like. The small detail of this outfit such as the headband and shoes makes it easy to convey to the audience that Elizabeth is young and innocent.

This was the outfit we chose for the role of the dad played by Jack.

We decided that the use of a white shirt was best to emphasize the shooting of the father. The room we shot the scene in was very dark, and the use of the shirt made the actor stand out. Furthermore, the ketchup that could be seen on the back of the actor(myself) stood out more on the white shirt rather than a dark purple shirt, especially when I was laying on the dark wooden floor.
